Digital and personalised products
All products sold by Personalised Song are digital, personalised songs, created to order using the information you provide at checkout.
Because of this:
- No physical item is shipped
- Delivery is by digital file only
- Products cannot be returned, resold, or reused once delivered
Right to cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers usually have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase.
This right does not apply to personalised digital content once:
- Production has started, or
- The digital product has been delivered
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- Your song is made specifically for you
- Production begins shortly after purchase
- You agree to lose your right to cancel once work starts
Refunds
Refunds are not offered in the following situations:
- You change your mind after ordering
- You no longer want the song
- Incorrect details were provided at checkout (names, dates, pronunciations, facts)
- The song does not match personal taste or expectations
- The intended recipient no longer wants or needs the gift
This applies once production has started or the song has been delivered.
Errors and faults
If an issue occurs due to our error, we will fix it.
You are entitled to a free correction if:
- Information was entered correctly but used incorrectly
- The delivered file is corrupted or inaccessible
- The song clearly does not follow the agreed brief
In these cases:
- We will revise the song at no extra cost
- A refund is offered only if a correction is not possible
Revisions
Each order includes one reasonable revision, provided:
- The request is based on the original brief
- All details were supplied correctly at checkout
Requests that significantly change the story, tone, or concept may require a new order.
Delivery issues
Songs are delivered digitally within the timeframe stated on the website.
